Blossom sweater kit | all sizes, one price

The Blossom pattern has 10 sizes to fit people with bust/chest circumferences anywhere from 28 inches to 66 inches (70 to 165 cm).

The kit includes 6 skeins of yarn, which is enough to knit any of the 10 sizes with either 3/4 length sleeves or bracelet length sleeves at the standard body length with a straight hem.

If you want to lengthen the body or knit a high-low hem at sizes 9 or 10, you should add one extra skein to your cart.

Blossom is an achievable project for knitters who have never knit a sweater before, as well as knitters who have knit many sweaters.

The pattern has lots of milestones such as stitch counts, measurements, illustrations and tips noted along the way to help you check your progress, plus 5 video tutorials to demonstrate any techniques that may be new to you.

The pattern has:

• Increases and decreases
• German short rows
• Cables or optional ribbing detail if cables feel daunting

It might seem a bit unusual for a kit to include yarn for all sizes, but here's why I do it this way:

• It can be incredibly helpful to have an extra skein (or two) of well-matched yarn in a sweater project.
• It lets you knit a larger size than you might have originally intended, or make modifications, without playing yarn chicken.
• It centers the experience and needs of the largest bodies in our community in a way that's helpful for everyone.
• If you have yarn left over, you can knit a matching accessory (like a hat or cowl).

You'll get one month of my Nourishing Things membership, starting when your kit ships. You'll be able to schedule 1:1 time during my monthly office hours (in 10 minute blocks) to help you do things like:

• Choose a size
• Talk about alternating skeins
• Work through anything you find tricky
