This utterly ingenious pattern by Hunter Hammersen walks you through absolutely every step of creating these knitted books—from how to block your book-in-progress to how to attach the inner "pages" (which is actually your handy storage compartment).
This kit includes everything you need to create one Altoid tin-style book, just like the one I've pictured. The finished "book" is the size of an Altoid tin, or 2.3" wide, 3.7" tall, and .75" deep.
Just think how adorable your little knitted book will be as it sits on your coffee table or desk, holding your knitting notions—or maybe a secret love note!
80/20 Smooth Sock is my perfect workhorse fingering weight yarn. It's plump and robust, and creates a bouncy fabric. Use it for anything from socks to shawls to lightweight garments.

Dear Anne, I haven't had a chance to play with everything yet, but I can say the following. Handwriting my name on your letter was a super-nice touch. I will be smelling the candle for ages before I ever decide to burn it. Yarn colors festively out of my normal zone. Can't wait to build the advent calendar. LOVE the stitch markers and their little jar. The little bowl! Couldn't figure out what the "bell" was. Did I get a llama instead? Overall - a 10. Thank you so much for the experience. Sincerely, Sydney
Very excited about this box. Have so far save the opening for closer to the Solstice.
It's such a lovely color. I haven't decided what to do with it yet, but I want to make sure it's really special.
This is the only yarn subscription I have held onto over this last year. It's always gorgeous and so incredibly soft. It's so special to me, in fact, that I keep it in a bin next to my go bag so I can grab it if we have to evacuate. I have never regretted this beautiful subscription and so look forward to receiving the yarn! 💚
Soft, beautiful colors, exquisitely speckled. I looked forward to each skein.
I've been an on and off subscriber for a few years and it's, hands down, the best one out there. Each shipment has a bundle of the SOFTEST, most luxurious cashmere blend fingering yarn in the loveliest of shades. I'm currently not a member and am begging to be let back in. ;)
Great pattern!
Lovely yarn and lovely color!
So glad I took you up on your try me offer. Will be back for more and more colors!
Hugs, Patti
I ordered this skein from Anne because I love green, and Toad Hall has a myriad of greens that read as a solid. I haven't yet knit with it but it's sitting by my knitting chair for me to fondle at will. It came with a pattern for Anne's Blossom hat and I believe that's what I will knit with it. Loveliness!
Beautiful and soft, that I can’t wait to knit.
Love, love, Anne's yarn. Color and feel are so good to knit with. The pattern for the Ursa Canis swester will look lovely on my Molly! Thanks so much for another wonderful pattern and yarn!
This is a beautiful pattern. I can’t wait to cast it on. Thank you 😋
I purchased the Targhee Sweater yarn in Herdwick. It is a beautiful variegated green, that reminds me of evergreen foliage. The yarn is wonderfully squishy and springy and round. I am really enjoying knitting with it and highly recommend Anne's lovely yarns!
Love the color and yarn base. I had trouble choosing just one so I selected three colors.
