Targhee Worsted is a dream to knit with, it's sturdy but so soft, and I can't help but stop to squish the fabric as I knit. The color, Liquid Amber is so rich and has a fabulous range of tones from a soft coral to a rich red. I am fortunate enough to be testing the Warbler sweater, and this yarn a perfect compliment to the texture in the pattern. Than you Anne for such a lovely yarn!

Targhee worsted has a great handfeel ( is that a word? It should be). I really like the clearly defined stitches it's creating. I will definitely be looking for more of this 100% native wool.

A knitting friend with similar values (support small businesses/ artists, environmental stewardship) told me about the Kindred Spirits subscription, which is like a CSA. While I haven't yet knit anything with the gorgeous hanks I get every 6 weeks, the colors will go together into a lovely soft striped sweater, or a shawl... it is luscious to contemplate.

This subscription is an absolute joy. The colors are beautiful, the feel of the yarn is luxurious at your fingertips, and Anne is responsive and genuine. Occasionally I don’t warm to a color right away, only to realize later that it’s just the right shade to work into a stranded project I’m planning. I previously had a subscription with a bigger yarn and pattern producer whose reputation did not map onto my experience. Kindred Spirits is superior in every way—most notably in colorway variety and customer service. Highly recommended.

Dear Anne, I haven't had a chance to play with everything yet, but I can say the following. Handwriting my name on your letter was a super-nice touch. I will be smelling the candle for ages before I ever decide to burn it. Yarn colors festively out of my normal zone. Can't wait to build the advent calendar. LOVE the stitch markers and their little jar. The little bowl! Couldn't figure out what the "bell" was. Did I get a llama instead? Overall - a 10. Thank you so much for the experience.
